The WENOCA meetings are usually held at the Unitarian Church, One Edwin
Place, (at the corner of Charlotte and Edwin Streets) in Asheville. The meetings start with a half hour social
gathering from 7:00 p.m. At 7:30 there is a brief period of business and announcement followed
by a presentation. The presentations are usually by guest speakers who address issues that are of
concern to the WENOCA Group. The topics for future meetings are listed below.

Author/Artist Emily Eve Weinstein
The WENOCA Chapter of the
Sierra Club and Mountain Voices Alliance have teamed up with author/artist Emily Eve Weinstein in presenting her new book, Saving Magic Places.
After her presentation Ms. Weinstein will be signing books as part of a joint fundraiser for the WENOCA Chapter and Mountain Voices Alliance. Ten dollars of every book sold at the event goes towards helping save some of Asheville’s magic places.
