Tuesday- Green School Open House

Join us for an Open House to see what a green school looks like. The school's green features include lots of natural light; rainwater catchment for toilet flushing; a "living machine" for wastewater treatment; an energy-efficient building shell; an under-floor air distribution system; solar water heating and photovoltaic systems; and 3-D experiential learning centers. These features added 7 cents per square foot, but are expected to return energy savings of 50 cents per square foot.
