Weekend Backpack- Pisgah National Winter Base Camp

Details:

This backpacking trip starts with an easy 2.5 mile hike to a high, semi-exposed campsite with outstanding views to The Smokies and Nantahala.

Saturday day hikes to several 360 degree views and to a waterfall.

Sturdy tent and good winter clothing a must. This is an excellent, yet easy introduction to winter camping.

This trip is limited to 8, and a $50 deposit is required.
