Details:

Meet at the Beaufort public launch ramp at the East end of Front Street at 10.00 AM to paddle alongside the Rachel Carson Reserve and out on Taylors Creek to the far side of Carrot Island. In addition to a good swimming beach and picnic area, there will be a great opportunity to see and learn about the fauna and wildlife of the salt marshes and tidal flats. You can expect to see many birds, horses and perhaps dolphins.

Bring your kayak, PFD, lunch and drinking water. Register by contacting Jeff Monico
