The southeast's largest natural history museum offering four floors of exhibits showcasing North Carolina's rich natural diversity; Live animals, dinosaur and whale exhibits.  January 26, 2008  is Astronomy Day at the museum and offers the possibility to talk to a real astronaut. Free admission and close proximity to the Museum of History for those who wish to extend their visit.  Bring lunch or eat at the museum's cafeteria.  Depart of Greenville JCPenney parking lot (northeast side) at 8:30 a.m. to meet at the museum lobby information desk at 10:30 a.m.
