New Monthly Postcards of Upcoming Activities and Events

With heartfelt thanks to dedicated, talented, past and present newsletter editors, and with much sadness and some relief, we announce the January/February newsletter will be our last. The Capital Sierran has served us well since the founding of the Capital Group almost 25 years ago. But, the environmental landscape changes too rapidly to keep a bi-monthly newsletter timely and accurate.

Monthly postcards, featuring Capital Group Upcoming Events and Activities, combined with our up-to-date website and growing listserv, provide an easier, more powerful and cost-effective way to communicate with our members – saving trees, money and volunteer resources. With over half our annual revenue currently spent on printing and mailing the newsletter, communicating more effectively will free resources for important grassroots advocacy.

With the passing of the newsletter, we enthusiastically encourage you to visit this website more often and, while you’re here, JOIN OUR LISTSERV by simply clicking on the “Email Alerts Signup.” Our listserv is the best way to receive accurate updates and timely action alerts. We promise not to spam you and, of course, our lists are never sold or disseminated!
